You could also allude to his actions to sequester his governor's records - what's in them, anyway? Something about sloppy management?

Just some suggestions:

IF HOWARD DEAN CAN'T SECURE THE SECURITY OF A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN VERMONT HIS OWN STATE, HOW CAN HE PROTECT ENSURE THE HOMELAND SECURITY OF THIS COUNTRY?

or in a simpler version: If Howard Dean can't secure a nuclear power plant in his own state, how can he ensure the security of this country?

Two other points: it seems to me that this ad could be played with a young woman's voice, that 'mother with small kids' sound.

Also, it can be good to answer a question in an ad if you ask one. (Not necessary though). So if you ask something like, "how do we know if (Dean) will be able to protect this country?", you could end with something like, "We just can't roll the dice on our national security."

I believe you might get shot in the groin on this subject.

The owners of a nuclear plant, whether a PUD or privately held utility, are responsible for the facility's security, which must meet the Nuclear Regulatory Agency's requirements by presenting a security plan and passing frequent inspections.

I NEED HELP...I need a couple good deep professional sounding voice overs done and all the pictures and video clips I can get..

You could get all the sound bites you want from Lieberman et al and could probably get financing from Terry McAuliffe. My advice - let the cannibals eat themselves and start working on an anti-Hillary video, instead.

HOWARD AND SIGMUND ACT I

Howard: (rising up on elbows and screaming) but the events, the events of the last two weeks.

Sigmund: please lay back Mr. Dean, we can't safely administer any more horse tranquilizer.

Howard: The events prove that I was right. We are no safer - we are no safer - we are no safer...

Sigmund: But Howard, there were no events. The last terrorist strike was on 9/11.

Howard: fading screen (we are no safer...)

George W: (New shot -aircraft carrier with jets landing in background)Despite the existence of the UN and French involvement on the security council, the events of 9/11 show that America was no safer until we took action with the coalition of the willing. That's why I propose a complete overhaul of the UN, starting with removal of France from the security council. God bless America

In Iowa, they're playing radio ads where it's mentioned that Dean worked at an inner city hospital and learned Spanish while working on a ranch in Florida.

Just as an idea, I thought it would be great to create a commercial touting his record in a Planned Parenthood clinic. "Dr. Dean clinic'd at a Planned Parenthood facility where he made sure women were able to legally kill their unborn child."

Dean, shaking his head: "I just don't understand why anyone would even care that Yankee Vermont is rated the least safe out of 103 nuclear plants. We're such a little state, so far out of the mainstream -- I doubt that terrorists even know we exist."

Dean's advisor: "But you are running for president now, and some might question your ability to handle national security when you couldn't manage security in your own state."

Dean: "Well, of course I could have handled it -- I just needed more money."

Dean's advisor: "But the people were complaining when you raised the state tax to 14%."

Dean: "14%! Is that all? Well if people want to feel secure, they should have been willing to pay more."

Dean's advisor: "Well, sir, you could always blame President Bush."

Dean: "Yeah! They voted for me, didn't they, so they'll believe anything. We'll simply repeat what I've been saying all along -- we are no safer now that Saddam has been captured, that the extraordinary, costly measures required to make the plant more secure would not have been necessary except for Bush's failed policies."

>>IF HOWARD DEAN CAN'T SECURE THE SECURITY OF A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN VERMONT HOW CAN HE PROTECT THE HOMELAND SECURITY OF THIS COUNTRY". <<

Cool idea. Be aware though, that most of the nuclear plants in this country have had continual security problems for the past two or three decades.

Comparing Dean to Hitler might spice up your commercial a little, too.
