FYI....... Any news on the court case. Wasn't there supposed to be some kind of ruling today? I thought they were trying to meet the deadline for filing in the old districts.... If the new districts stand then filing a few days off.. ends Jan. 11 or there abouts.......

I don't know whether the court hinted they'd release their ruling today, or whether only pundits predicted it.
I'm not sure it matters.
The DOJ ruling makes the new GOP map the only legal map in existence and while an adverse ruling might have restored the old map, this court wasn't going to do that.

I checked the Dallas Morning News a short while ago and nothing about the court ruling yet. They said they would decide today, but I guess not ...
