Scientists Closely
Monitoring Yellowstone

Recent eruptions, 200 degree ground temperatures, bulging magma and 84 degree water temperatures prompt heightened srutiny of park's geothermal activity...

BILLINGS, Mont. -- Yellowstone National Park happens to be on top of one of the largest "super volcanoes" in the world. Geologists claim the Yellowstone Park area has been on a regular eruption cycle of 600,000 years. The last eruption was 640,000 years ago making the next one long overdue. This next eruption could be 2,500 times the size of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. Volcanologists have been tracking the movement of magma under the park and have calculated that, in parts of Yellowstone, the ground has risen over seventy centimeters this century.

In July, 2003, Yellowstone Park rangers closed the entire Norris Geyser Basin because of deformation of the land and excessive high ground temperatures. There is an area that is 28 miles long by 7 miles wide that has bulged upward over five inches since 1996, and this year the ground temperature on that bulge has reached over 200 degrees (measured one inch below ground level).

There was no choice but to close off the entire area. Everything in this area is dying: The trees, flowers, grass and shrubs. A dead zone is developing and spreading outward. The animals are literally migrating out of the park.

Then during the last part of July one of the Park geologists discovered a huge bulge at the bottom of Yellowstone Lake. The bulge has already risen over 100 feet from the bottom of the lake and the water temperature at the surface of the bulge has reached 88 degrees and is still rising.

Keep in mind that Yellowstone Lake is a high mountain lake with very cold water temperatures. The Lake is now closed to the public. It is filled with dead fish floating everywhere. The same is true of the Yellowstone river and most of the other streams in the Park. Dead and dying fish are filling the water everywhere.

Many of the picnic areas in the Park have been closed and people visiting the Park usually stay but a few hours before leaving since the stench of sulfur is so strong they literally can't stand the smell.

The irony of all this is the silence by the news media and our government. Very little information is available from Yellowstone personnel or publications. What mainstream newsstories do appear underscore the likelihood of a massive volcanic eruption. Though geologists publicly admit Yellowstone is "overdue," they have been quoted as stating another massive magma release may not occur for 100,000 or 2 million years. Others close to the story are convinced that a massive eruption is imminent. A source that has demonstrated first-hand knowledge of the park's history and recent geothermal events stated the following: "The American people are not being told that the explosion of this 'super volcano' could happen at any moment. When Yellowstone does blow, some geologists predict that every living thing within six hundred miles is likely to die. The movement of magma has been detected just three-tenths of a mile below the bulging surface of the ground in Yellowstone raising concerns that this super volcano may erupt soon."

OK this is kinda out there, but, what would one of those missing suitcase nukes do to trigger this? Like I said, I know it is pretty far out there, I was just curious. Anyone have a thought.

I understand your skepticism.

I have a similar disdane for anything having to do with meanings of numbers of letters and words etc. . . . I realize there are some such things which are not technically numerology. But still, I don't like anything hinting of numerology.

Thankfully, the Bible Codes are an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THING. And, they MAY WELL BE what Daniel was speaking of in terms of some of God's Revelations being locked up, hidden until the far future.

I don't think Drosnin's 'Bible Codes' stand a lot of scrutiny nor do the scholars. They are typically too short to be of any statistical significance.

I do suspect, however, that even some of his will turn out to have been true--but that one cannot say so ahead of time based on statistical analysis.

The others with incredibly awesome statistical probability factors--there's no other explanation but designed codes.

There have been a couple of extensive fairly designed, strictly designed comparisons between War and Peace in Hebrew and The Bible. It used to be thought early in the science of The Codes that 14 or so letters was quite significant. We've learned through such comparison studies as the above two that 30 letters may not be significant. But, the math has progressed such that 40, certainly 50 and 60 or more letters long Codes are astronomically significant.

I'll post the latest study below.

Then there's the issue of some claiming that because of vowelless Hebrew text, one can make them say anything. Solid internationally respected Hebrew scholars vet each code very carefully and scoff at this accusation.

THE BIBLE ITSELF declares that it is God's pleasure to hide things AND God's pleasure that man searches them out. And Christ makes clear that things are hidden from the unrighteous but made clear to those who truly Love Him. I wouldn't want to say that Drosnin is free of pride about the Codes. But I have been impressed with the humility of even the acclaimed scholars involved in the Codes otherwise. Some can pontificate with the best of them but most are unusually marked by humility, IMHO.

One reason is the awesome beauty of the Codes. One can easily have the response of the prophet seeing The Lord High and lifted up--woe is me, a man of unclean lips.

It's awesome enough to have a beautiful, complex code of over 60 letters. But then to have another very statistically significant code on the same topic cross that code making a cross shaped dual code--that begins to get very interesting indeed. Then to have maybe 5-15 or more other codes show up in the SAME matrix--all in the same general topic area--that makes it even MORE interesting.

Then when one notices that the KEY WORDS OF THE LONGEST CODE CROSS IN THE MIDDLE OF KEYWORDS ON THE SAME TOPIC IN THE SURFACE TEXT . . . the statistics are hard to even construe skillfully enough to calculate. When they are construed in any calculatable way, Excel can't handle the numbers that large. The statistical significance is off the charts, so to speak.

Then there's the really stupid, audacious, ignorant, brazen skullduggery on the part of the detractors in published assaults against the codes. Thankfully, their comments have been proven ridiculous. Had they any shame, they'd have been shamed into silence.

I'm still sometimes annoyed by the cryptic mysteriousness of the Codes. However, I keep reminding myself that the surface text has plenty Scriptures--especially prophetic Scriptures--which are much the same.

The below excerpt comments on Codes about the snipers. The published code came out with details about the snipers before they were captured but was not widely known enough beforehand and so was of evidently no use in searching for them.

"-- In "Washington in Fear," researcher Moshe Aharon Shak has come up with the beginnings of a very interesting cluster on the Washington-area snipers. He presents what he has found so far in this detailed article, which reveals aspects of the sniper team that have not been released by authorities. "

From the Snopes article: On 21 August 2003, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake occurred under the southern boundary of the park.

Yowsers! We had just left Montana two days before! We drove through the southern part of the Park on the 17th because my b-i-l wanted to see the Grand Tetons. It was a beautiful drive, unfortunately the pictures don't look so great because there was lots of mist in front of the Tetons.

Sounds like there would be some 'warning' since there will likely be some earthqaukes. Folks would have a chance to bug out if they wanted to. Guess each person will have assess their own, or their family's risk. I'm just glad I live in MA; didn't think I'd ever have cause to say that! ;o)

No need to relocate Gitmo residents for necessary inormation.

Well that's bound to increase the suicide rate at Gitmo.

Our government already has stated they would not give any warning if an asteroid was on course to destroy civilization. Presumably the same protocol is in place for a Yellowstone eruption.

Wow!

Where are you going to get the hills from?

I imagine that most of the surviving human population will be forced far south by the advancing ice.

Other things to worry about:

Asteroid Impact

Massive gamma ray burst from an outside the solar system event

BSE nvCJD

SARS

Ebola

Flu

Carbs

Fat

Protein

Anthrax

Earthquakes

Too little ozone

Too much ozone

Global warming

Global cooling

Pesticides

Deer ticks

Nerve gas

Dirty bombs

Haliburton

SUVs

Guns

Acid rain

Too much Rain

Too little Rain

Nuclear power

Non-nuclear power

Wind Turbines shredding endangered birds

Obesity

Starvation

BCS

So much too worry about...

I've probably left out lots of other things that would be higher on the list.

Well, time for lunch but there is nothing in the 'fridge that isn't on someones list as detrimental to health. What's a person to do!?

She's practicing a different form of burp control. It involves only using the ash hole...

My thought too, but then and asteroid cold be covered up more easily than multiple earthquakes and boiling lakes.

If none of the stuff foreseen for the future happens, the Bible code's predictions may have come about prior to them happening.

I do wonder though if anyone found in the codes several years ago the 9/11 threat, Saddam being captured etc...BEFORE it happened. It is easy to find them after they happen (relatively....you still have to find the right number sequences).

But, I am willing to keep an open mind.

FR is behind on this topic. George Noory & Art Bell have been on top of this for quite some time.
