FoxNews commentators and analysts start their commentaries and continue to use the phrase, "I mean..."
"I mean..." is about as irritating as "you know..."

PUNKED - As in bamboozled, duped, flimflammed, hornswoggled. Nominated by the Frank and Johnnie Show, WGN, Chicago. An old noun given new life as a verb because of the television show Wrong. It was used as a verb long before this year.

I hate it when interviewers tell interviewees to "talk about" a certain topic or story instead of "tell us about" or "expound on", etc.
It also bugs me when people say a song or movie or article "talks about" a certain topic or issue.
To: Tazlo
I hope "closure" is on one of these lists!

I absolutly dispise the term "Near Miss".
If you hit it you hit it. If you miss it you miss it.
If you aim to miss and hit it it is a near miss because you hit it.
If you aim to hit it and miss it it is a near hit or a miss, NOT A NEAR MISS.
Oh! my brain! It's strained!

I also hate it when people say something "literally" happened when in fact it would be impossible for said action to happen in a literal sense.

My addition:
PROGRESSIVE
Progressives are communist, regressive and in no way contribute to the positive advancement of mankind.
