You must be hiding under a rock. My High School age daughter couldn't speak spanish so she was denied a job at the mall! How's that for one example. I suggest you contact Terry Anderson at www.theterryandersonshow.com. He's a local black talk show host (870am-Sunday 8:00-9:00 PST) and ask him for more examples. There are thousands that cannot get jobs, especially in the construction trade and the restaurant industry.

Like an employer is going to say "Sorry, you didn't get the job. I gave it to an immigrant." That is not how it is done. Can you prove that no one in the country has not lost out on a job to an illegal? No you can't.

Oh, yeah, there are actually MORE jobs. Almost everyone has to have someone on staff that is bilingual. The KC, KS police department has hired at least 2 interpreters. KC, KS has a large Hispanic population. I have gone to 2 different Chilpotle restaurants in the suburbs and had to deal with employees that do not speak English. At one I asked the employee if guacamole was extra, she added the guacamole without answering. When I explained the situation to the cashier, I was told that I would not be charged this time but that I would know next time, in a tone of voice as if to imply that I was trying to pull one over on his employee. I still need to write them and let them know I won't be back.
