"For Bush and Blair to go into Iraq together was like a bunch of white vigilantes going into Brixton to stop drug dealing. This is not to deny there's a problem to be sorted, just that they are not credible people to deal with it," he said. This bishop is so blind to reality I have to question the basis on which he holds his office. Who besides Bush and Blair (and Howard) could credibly deal with the problem? The UN? (failed).... the Arab League? (lmao)... Russia or China? (both in bed with him).
Is there a thought process that precedes words eminating from his mouth?

How come you didnt sort the problem out then?

What's the difference in a "white" vigilante and a "black" vigilante? Or a a blue vigilante for that matter.

I wonder if he thinks that sodomite bishop in New Hampshire will have to answer to God?

make that Episcopalian I dunno. The Episcopal church could use some more lions in its membership. (I'm going to avoid the other, um, rendering...)

"Screw that Bishop" Soon to be a reality series, I trust.

In a separate rebuke, the Archbishop of York, David Hope, questioned the legitimacy of the war and said Mr Blair would have to answer to God - a "higher authority" - for his decision to forge ahead with the conflict.Yes Archbishop, he will as will you. I expect God will give Tony Blair his blessings for freeing the Iraqi people. You, however, will be called to account and you might be a little surprised at how harsh it will be.

"Undoubtedly, a very wicked leader has been removed, but there are wicked leaders in other parts of the world." I never understood this argument. So their answer is to do nothing to any wicked leaders, ever? I truly can't fathom their reasoning behind this. I guess there are some things I'm just destined to never comprehend......

Had we waited much longer to enter WWII, there would have been no Archbishop Hope to spew this nonsense, because after all the Jews were gone, his hide would have been used to make the next lamp shade.
