While these cartoons are offensive, ignorant, show an inability for its creators to deal with reality, and most of all lack humor, free speech is a wonderful thing, isn't it? I sent a message through their feedback link making that point, and asking them the question if they would have been able to post similar cartoons critical of Saddam during his reign, in Irak. I appreciate the irony.
With the liberties for which this country stands, comes the inconvenience of allowing opposite views. Where I regularly, nay, often wish we could get some of the liberal intelligentia to shut up, as ugly as it may be, they should be allowed to state their case.
I always point out to my liberal friends that while free speech guarantees one can speak one's mind, it doesn't guarantee one should be heard. At least nowadays in Irak, you no longer get thrown into a wood-chipper for stating opposing views. To me, that's worth a few childish cartoons...

I would hope there are those in Islam that are opposed to Islamist-extremist ideas and who do not support violence as a tool to political ends... I just haven't heard them expressing their views on TV and in print. I wonder... why?
I kind of thought the one with President Bush carving the rock into a Re-elect Bush sign was from the DNC website (or will be).
