Designer Campaign Posters (Time for Fun at the Times' Expense)

The Designer: "Morally, I think Kucinich is incredible." Many of us have also concluded Dennis is a menace who can't be believed on anything, including his explanation of why it was important to take Cleveland into bankruptcy.

* * *

Gulp! Could this also be short for Geppetto, a workcutter who carves puppets like Pinocchio?

* * *

This reads like the epitaph for Kerry's moribund campaign. BTW, who wouldn't want someone else?

* * *

You may think that this is an announcement that herald's the imminent release of Dean's governor files to the public, but you would be wrong.

* * *

The two faces of Joe Lieberman.

* * *

No strings, no nothing -- in attachments or experience, except in writing obscenities on a young girl's forehead with dog feces. At least he's got a sense of humor -- and he has used it to ruin the lives of honorable people.

* * *

shifty.

* * *

He will WHAT? This is scary? His campaign is a mess, i.e., a disaster. If he can't fix it, how could he fix problems that are national or global in scope? As a trial lawyer, he's responsible for many of them, not the least of which is keeping our companies solvent and productive, fighting to hire the best people instead of fighting bankruptcy.

Her campaign slogan says it all: "She doesn't talk, think or look like anybody else." -- about the strongest statement she can make. Designers should stick to what they do best: jeans.

Is that Howard Dean's handwriting on that poster? If so, I would like a handwriting analyst to take a look at it.

So design is the topic for once. In my own opinion, nearly all of them are too hip. Though I can't stand her, Carol Moseley Braun's poster is the best in getting out the "Vote for me for a real change" message.

Ah, GEP! is for Gephardt. That one is way too obscure. Lieberman definitely targets the oldsters that vote. At least he's thinking.

Kerry's is downright ghoulish.

Clark's is interesting, but it says absolutely nothing about him. If anything, it hurts him.

Personally I think Edwards is sharper and more articulate than all the rest of the Dems put together.

I can't find a single brain cell in any of the others!

"Dennis the Menace", great tag
