Unless we hear otherwise, which we won't, I put the blame squarely on the driver. When I was a teenager I was in situations (not stolen cars though) where I wanted OUT but there was no way I could.
I may be naive but I would like to think at least the two girls wanted no part of this. But who the hell knows.

"I may be naive but I would like to think at least the two girls wanted no part of this. But who the hell knows."According to the father, it was common knowledge that this "borrowing" was going on. My guess is that the two girls also knew and voluntarily participated.
I mean really, the driver was 15, no one had licenses, the car was "borrowed", they're out at 12:30 in the morning.

13 yr olds and 14 yr olds are in way over their heads when this stuff happens. A 15 yr old took all their lives. He was the culprit, he had choices, lots of them. He chose to do the things that caused them all to be dead. It's a tragedy in every sense.
