This is precisely why I felt that Bush's well-meaning "new tone in Washington politics" stance was so ludicrous from the get-go.

The libs hate us. They hate YOU, Mr. President. They will not fight fair. They will lie. They will cheat. They will obfuscate. They use their willing accomplices in the media to attack you; to undermine you and your administration's policies. They despise all that you stand for. They will NOT be appreciative of your overtures to them. They will laugh at your naivete'.

Embrace this once and for all, and start treating them like the anti-American filth that they are. Hardball time, Mr. President. Hardball time.

.........and don't think for a second that the average American voter won't appreciate the hell out of you sticking it to 'em.

The only thing Bill Clinton ever said that made sense to me was, "Politics is the art of the possible."

And didn't Hillary Clinton state that "Politics is the art of making the impossible possible."

DINO's for sure...

Democrats-In-Name-Only

Working hard to take down America.

The america hating media is just too happy to keep her heinous' secrets for her.

She never had to answer a single question during her run for senate, nor since then either.

And yet, the Left is still losing. In 2000 the Left lost the Presidency. In 2002 the Left lost the Senate. In 2004 the Left will lose the Presidency again, as well as lose 4 or more Senate seats and another 10 House seats.

But wait, there's more.

In 2006, the Democrats have even more incumbent Senators up for re-election than do the Republicans. At that point the Democrats are going to get slaughtered like mad cows.

And the news media has utterly (mad cow pun intended) no influence with Republicans.

At every turn the news media has openly embraced the Left, carried their tainted water, and opined against Republicans.

Republicans know from Moment One in their campaign that the news media will highlight every flaw of theirs and gloss over every gaffe made by their Democratic Party opposition. Senate Intelligence Committee memo leaks?! Why, the news media won't dare mention the treasonous content of those memos, but rather only harps on the poor Republican aid who may have done the leaking, for a single such example of the Leftwing bias that goes on everyday in the press.

But what all of this means is that by 2006 the news media will be frozen out of all American policy-making. They've opposed us so radically for so long that they have painted themselves into a corner in which they can't even pretend to be a voice of reason commenting on our proposed policies.

No, the news media has placed all of their eggs in the Democratic Party basket. They went for broke and that's what they got.

Now the news media is stuck being the cheerleaders of America's new minority Party. The irony here being that America has elected cheerleaders into our highest offices with positions and ideologies that are 180 degrees apart from the Marxist dreams of the Left.

But yet, we must be subjected to "Sen. Hillary Clinton" day-in-and-day-out.

Yah, and get THIS! Last night on Jeopardy, one of the categories during the first round had to do with (properly) addressing someone, for example, the name of some British nobleman/ranking or some such was given, and the response was: "What is Viscount." Well, one of the "answers" in that same category was "HILLARY CLINTON AS PRESIDENT OF THE U.S." and the response was "What is Madam President."

What peeved me about the whole answer/question exchange was that it was SHE/HER name used to refer to a female president, instead of just stating is as a "woman" who became president (...would be addressed as ...) -- BUT NO!!! They just HAD to use HER name. (sickening, I know..., but you get the idea...I don't guess they would ever have said "CONDOLEEZA RICE AS PRESIDENT..., now would they.)

The "new tone" is not an option for Bush. He is a committed Christian whose personal beliefs lead him to "pray for his enemies." As much as some here (including me) think this is not realistic, or naive, the fact is it HAS paid off, because the pres. is well liked by about 2/3 of the people; he has strong "favorability" #s which, I'm convinced, stem from this idea that he is a "nice guy."

Finally, Jesus Himself said that if you pray for your enemies and do good to those who curse you, you "heap burning coals upon their heads." Is this not what is happening? By Bush treating them decently, despite their snide and evil attitudes, they only gnash their teeth even more.

It's NOT very satisfying, as a conservative, but the Bible doesn't call us to be satisfied with natural passions. Just victorious.

Women were never meant to lead a country. It doesn't matter what their party status is. When a woman leads a country she is more vulnerable to attacks from foreign countries than a man. The reason is that many foreigners, like the Arabs, Iranians, and Iraqi's have no respect for women whatsoever. Same for women serving in the military. Women should be staying home taking care of the family. Let the men lead the country.

If women want to be like men and take the role to lead a country, then they better fight like amazons, or else, stay the hell out of office. It's like have a little ol' police woman as the partner next to a big police man and both are in a bad neighborhood. If the big police officer gets assaulted by a gang member, let's hope to god his female partner is a damn good street fighter to bring down the assailant(s) or else both officers are dead meat.
