Please tell me how often it is that drug dealers and extortionists are given complete immunity in order to incarcerate the "common folk" drug users and extortion victims.

THAT'S the issue. The methods, not the fact that they want to nail him. The "common folk" would get that kind of treatment. I don't believe elites should get favorable treatment, but neither should they get screwed even harder. Rush should be getting -equal- treatment under the law, and that ain't happening.

I say this as someone who has very rarely listened to Rush and while my feelings about him are generally positive, I am far far far from being a dittohead.
