THAT'S the issue. The methods, not the fact that they want to nail him. The "common folk" would get that kind of treatment. I don't believe elites should get favorable treatment, but neither should they get screwed even harder. Rush should be getting -equal- treatment under the law, and that ain't happening.

I say this as someone who has very rarely listened to Rush and while my feelings about him are generally positive, I am far far far from being a dittohead.

Oh but you seem to forget the government's 'guilty and never proven innocent' attitude in the hundreds of botched drugs raids on wrong houses commited every year. Or let's also not forget get how abused the RIOC act has been used in that even if you are proven innocent in a court of law by a jury, that the government can still keep all the assets it has seized from you WITHOUT any compensation what so ever.

You are obviously not up to speed on this - Information that the Clines gave was used to close down a ring that was pushing hundreds of thousands of pills.

... and the extortion allegations never appeared until Blacks statements last week.
