Mr. Horowitz talked about his book, Left Illusions: An Intellectual Odyssey, published by Spence Publishing. The book, a compilation of forty-three essays, traces the author’s evolution from “red-diaper baby” to conservative. Beginning with articles composed during his leftist period in the 1960s, Mr. Horowitz includes explanations of his political conversion and his opinions on race, multiculturalism, AIDS, and the war on terrorism.

Talking to myself here but it beats watching the NFL.

David says that Dean was given a deferrment from the draft during Vietnam because of a bad back. Then, he moved to Colorado and skied for a year. I did not know that.

Stumbled across this program while flipping channels to CNN/FNS between plays of the Falcons game. Mr. Horowitz appeared to be working without notes, but he's still pretty effective.

If THIS guy can be flipped idealogically, ANYBODY can. Dissilusionment with something can be a powerful thing, if one only thinks a little logically.
