And Yesterday Europe.

California is already lost....others will follow suit.
300 for a fake dl and ss card. Many have several, and collect benefits from different addresses using different names.

After reading this (his comments about what is happening in California are true), how can any thinking person NOT be angry at President Bush who continues to encourage illegal immigration simply by refusing to enforce the law? Americans are becoming increasingly outraged, yet our President and Congress turn their backs on us.

here's an idea: legalize them. turn them into enfranchised, tax-paying citizens instead of spreading this scare-mongering that borders on racism.

This is the ugly truth behind the propaganda of immigration enthusiasts, who insist that illegal aliens are doing "Jobs that Americans won't do."

Do the pro-illegal immigrant dummies realize that not only will the illegals take the jobs that "Americans won't do" (and I disagree wholeheartedly with that premise, but I digress....), the illegals are taking the jobs that Americans WILL do, such as construction and trade jobs? Doesn't it stand to reason that if employers can get away with paying Mexicans less for vegetable picking, that they can also get away with paying Mexicans less for what used to be high-paying jobs, like framing houses and pouring concrete, installing heating and air conditioning? Do the pro-illegal dummies really think that employers in THOSE fields aren't going to take advantage of all that cheap labor and shut out the American workers?

Are they really as stupid as they appear to be?

The Mexican government has developed a deliberate strategy to influence American immigration policy, increase the number of Mexicans in the United States, slow their assimilation, and retain their loyalty to Mexico. This is no secret conspiracy — Mexico’s leaders speak openly of it. In Mexico, the majority has relatives in the US.. to most Americans, unfortunately, this is a periphral issue. (it was for me..til now)

I've posted this quote by Presidente Fox but I think it needs repeating,""In the last few months we have managed to achieve an improvement in the situation of many Mexicans in that country, regardless of their migratory status, through schemes that have permitted them access to health and education systems, identity documents, as well as the full respect for their laboral and human rights." When you consider the number of illegals in the US, we are on the road to bankruptcy. Flood the WH with calls tomorrow letting them know your reaction to the Bush proposal for any amnesty. Write in Tancredo in the March, 2004, primaries.

“California immigrant households received a net subsidy from combined federal, state, and local programs averaging $6,145 in 1996.”

Big F'ing Deal! The average senior citizen in this country gets a net subsidy a hell of a lot bigger than that each and every year.

yep ... it hurts the tax base ... and that pays for everything, from roads, to Social Security (i.e. the contribution, not taxes per se), and on and on ...

go to any Wal-Mart and see their $8.50 fee to wire money to Mexico and you'll understand what it's all about ... it's the only country they list on the sign at the one I was at last night ...

As for illegals taking American jobs I ask you:

Why aren't AMERICANS taking these jobs?

Is it because AMERICANS are DEMANDING too much money for a job that doesn't warrant it?

The only reason these jobs are available is because they typical AMERICAN believes they are TOO GOOD for the job and hence the job is available to someone else - ILLEGALS who don't believe they are too good for the job and take it.

Illegals are "unassimilable," have destroyed our schools, shut our emergency rooms, made housing unaffordable, denied legals the ability to work in the sweat shop of their choice, and to top it off, create rotten boroughs because they don't vote. But hey, I keep reading around here that they are voting in droves (depriving such Great Americans as Bob Dornan of his rightful place in Congress). Whatever.

What is conspicuously missing is the bit about illegals pushing down the cost of goods and services. Nope, there is no silver lining for the Man On the Other Side of the River "Stix;" it just all sucks because he told you so. And I know he's right, because he quotes Paul Craig Roberts, and Roberts is always "Right."

Well.
I see Nic (& you) stirring up the hornet's nest of controversy, again.
And using the same old mo, to boot: "survival," "logic," "common sense."
Sheshhhh.
When you two ever gonna learn.

You're both [now] going to endure belittlment, insults, be mocked & generally made to pay & pay dearly I'd suspect; and, by the usual suspects & their li'l helpers, no less.

Yes, the defenders of insanity & self destruction seem to have multiplied like rabbits.
One wonders where did they all come from?

That's not the worst of it, though.
Noooooo.
The most outrageous part of all the lunacy is -- for some odd reason -- how these race baiting SOBs are "respected" & held in such high esteem!!
You're wondering "Why would they be held in anything *but* contempt when the position they're taking is so transparent if not altogether dangerous to every man, woman & child of United States' cictizenship?" aren'tcha?

They can pull off this shtick because they smoothly debate while throwing everyone elses [read: legal citizen] best interests right under the bus as they hawk their Liberal-Socialist agenda.

Around here, "debating" appears to be all that matters anymore, y'know; &, fewer & fewer seem to be noticing while all the blather's going on, Rome burns. :o)

Well I'll tell you why *I* -- Landru -- don't worry about all this illegal alien crap for one instant.
That's because our POTUS is going to take care of everything.
I know that because someone told me so, too.

Hope your holidays have been all you'd want 'em to be, Mr.r.; or, peaceful if nothing else.

...give my best to nic, will you.

We have no obligation to allow into this country the surplus population of countries who choose to overbreed.

Those who wants to give amnesty to illegal aliens and/or encourage more of them to migrate would fall into one or more of the following categories:
1. They are bribed, blackmailed, or have other vested interest.
2. They are members of terrorist organizations, drug dealers, or engaged in other criminal activities.
3. They hate this country or are sleeper agents.
4. They suffer from mental illness such as delusions that there is something wonderful about illegals aliens.
5. They want to change this country into a Third World country.

The economic consequences of this illegal alien crisis are dire, but not as dire as the political ones. This issue more than any other single issue threatens our nationalism. In that sense, it is nationalism versus the new world order. A nation can be defined in many ways, but a nation that thrives and prospers must have borders which are recognizable and respected. A nation must also have laws which are universally understood and uniformly enforced. By those criteria, I question how much longer we can claim to be a nation, given that we do not have the political will in either party to deal with this crisis. We are becoming nothing more than a free lunch counter in the new world order. During the Depression hoboes had a way of marking homes that were easy pickens for a free lunch. So it is with our country, we have become an easy mark and little more than a patsy pitstop on the way to the new world order.
