My point is that given enough time to reseach, a list like this can be compiled for ANY President, even Bill Clinton. His would in all liklihood have many entries spun to appeal to conservatives.
I have not reread your list, but does it include the education bill, non veto of the recent violation of the 1st amendment, the aids bill, the hydrogen bill, all the other big government spending that appeals to the lefties?
Beware of believing your own propaganda...

"My point is that given enough time to reseach, a list like this can be compiled for ANY President, even Bill Clinton. His would in all liklihood have many entries spun to appeal to conservatives." You must be believing your own spin to even try to think like that above. Clinton has no positive legacy. He accomplished nothing that he set out to achieve, and kept precious few if any campaign promises.
In contrast, Bush promised during his campaign to cut income taxes. He did.
He promised during his campaign to be pro-life. He is.
He promised during his campaign to reform Medicare *and* include prescription drugs and other proactive treatment options. He did.
He promised to deep six the Kyoto Global Warming treaty and dis the International Criminal Court. He did.
He promised to build our ABM defenses against North Korean nuclear missiles. He is.
Your problem is that you don't want Bush's solid achievements to get in the way of your petty little factless rants.
You are also welcome to go try to build such a list for Clinton, though no matter how much time you spend on it, you will fail to find much of merit.

"That kind of list can be posted about *any* President and is disingenuous in the extreme. If I were you, I sure would not cite Southack's work, if you can call it that. One of the biggest mistakes made around here is falling for the "party line" propaganda. This trash looks to come directly from Karl Rove and his very efficient spin machine." What, pray tell, is "disingenuous" in the least about banning Partial Birth Abortion, cutting income taxes by more than $1.3 Trillion, killing the Kyoto Global Warming Treaty, killing the U.S. - CCCP ABM treaty, building our ABM defenses against rogue North Korean nuclear missile attacks, smashing the Taliban in Afghanistan, kicking Hussein out of power in Iraq, and convincing Libya to drop their WMD programs without firing a shot at them?

"Wasn't Jack London an avowed socialist?"
Yes, very much so, but, oddly, also a Nietzschean (he saw himself as the "Superman").

I posted Southack's list in response to a post that Bush had done nothing for conservatives. I believe the facts refute this assertion. Has Bush been the conservative's ideal president? No, I wouldn't say so. He has done quite a few things that I would not have agreed with. But, lets not lose sight of the fact that he has also done quite a bit for conservatives too. We can sit around and make pronouncements about how things should be, and what things should be done, but President Bush has the rather annoying issue of having to stand for re-election to deal with. As a politician, he has to keep an eye on the polls. I am absolutely convinced that his prescription drug program was related to the closeness of the vote in Florida in 2000. Am I 100% happy with this situation? No. But the alternatives would be far worse.

Gephardt said his energy proposal, known as Apollo 21, will create 2 million jobs by increasing domestic production of oil and natural gas as well as alternative energy sources, like solar and wind power. It will also improve the environment and give the U.S. more energy security from oil producers in the Middle East.
Ummmm .. Has Dick explained where he is going to get this "domestic production of oil"

You are correct. From the biography I attained that it
was youthful indescretion of which so many are misled.
Near his death he became quite disillusioned with what he
previously had believed in.
Anyway his soicialist tendencies,I feel, played a minor role in his accomplishments, or rather, adventures and writing in forty short years. More than several of todays lifetimes.
It is a fascinating read.

He's not done...and does not come near to TR yet.

What the subheading should read:
Gephardt: "Bush Worst President of Last 5"
Gephardt Still an insignificant turd
(even after living off your tax dollar too long)
A vote for Gephardt is a vote to let the lazy stay on welfare!
A vote for Gephardt is a vote to turn this great country into France part Deux
A vote for Gephardt is a vote to learn how to bend over for every STUPID liberty ending law he and his socialist types can use against you.

Gephardt has rested in Congress like a complacent toad for a quarter of a century. Pure poetry.
