Detailed DoD recap of today's CPA briefing.
Enemies are going after soft targets.
US troops are the mighty good guys. Someone tell the press.

Better to fight the terrorists on their ground, than here on ours.

a computer and a scanner were confiscated. It would be interesting to know if it was a computer scanner or a radio scanner. I hope our troops are maintaining radio silence when going after these guys.

"Coalition soldiers also captured a religious leader connected to a large terrorist organization, three former regime sub-planners, two former regime planners, a financier of former regime cells, a former Iraqi intelligence service colonel and one of Saddam Hussein's son's bodyguards."
This is what jumps out at me. Now let me think, do I know the names of any "large terrorist organizations?"

From what I could tell the average day had 30 to 35 attacks before we caught Saddam. Now that's been cut in half, hopefully with some momentum on our side to bring that down further.
