Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark is looking for a few good programmers, designers and technical writers.

Clark's technology team announced Monday the launch of Clark TechCorps, an initiative to build a suite of free, open-source applications for campaigns and elections.

Like the Dean campaign, Clark supporters adopted open source for both idealistic and practical reasons.

"Open source for us symbolizes organizational transparency. We really feel that it's important that all development we do has this methodology behind it," said Clark TechCorps project manager Josh Hendler.

Heads up, open-sourcers.....

Well, as an open source advocate perhaps I should consider
overlooking Clark's obvious narcissism and unstable personality?

Since Ashley Wilkes is The Hildabeaste's hand puppet,
I wonder if she'll loan him some of the folks that worked on WHODB?

For those of you who have forgotten WHODB, and who could blame you, it's just another criminal enterprise The Hildabeaste got away with, go here ^.

The Clark campaign owes my friend a few thousand dollars for help they gave him for a few campaign adds they helped to produce for them. I can’t tell you who my friend is, because they are afraid he will become powerful and attempt to destroy them.

I don’t know how to help her. Any suggestions?

She needs to chalk this up as an educational expense. You need to tell her the first rule of politics. NEVER extend credit to a campaign. In the future, she should demand cash, up front. If they won't pay, they were probably planning to stiff her anyway.

I think you are correct. It is just she does this all the time for political campaigns, and has never been stiffed so overtly.

She has to pay the actors out of her own pocket.

Ouch. It is dangerous to mess with the Clinton crowd, but I would probably draft a press release and send it to the campaign and tell them "pay up in 10 days or this goes to the media." I would then send it to pro-Dean reporters and editors.

That is not a bad idea, I will pass that by her. Thanks!
