‘Al Qaeda vows back-breaking strike’

A London-based Arab magazine said on Friday that Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has vowed to launch a back-breaking attack on the US by February, confirming an earlier message by the militant network. The weekly al-Majalla said it received an e-mail from Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj, a little known Al Qaeda member, saying bin Laden would release a video tape in which he affirms his groups determination to fight the US.
A messenger of bin Laden informed him (Ablaj) that the Al Qaeda leader will appear on a televised tape after the execution of an operation which bin Laden described as back-breaking and which would change the order of things, al-Majalla said in a report in its latest edition.
They (Americans) should prepare...their coffins, hospitals and graves. The coming days will be full of surprises and great events which will make them a historic example, the magazine quoted Ablaj as saying. The report came after US officials ordered their colour-coded alert system raised to orange, the second highest level, citing possible year-end attacks.

You have done so in an articulate manner that I would not have expected from someone of this site, which I am sad to say is full of juvenile, one-sided extremists. It is not polite to enter someone's home and then trash it.
I would strongly suggest polite conversation over personal or political attacks.
Also, considering that the common American perception is that there is little difference between the Radicalists who attacked our nation on 9/11 and most other Islamic individuals, I would think that you would understand our cynicism and indignation.
If you are here to partake in the lively art of conversation, welcome. You'll find all types of people of all stripes and levels of education here. We are a relatively friendly group of people, contrary to your description of FR.
However, if you are here to raise your nose at us in righteous indignation for our patriotism and love of country and fellow man, this may not be the place for you.

"Imaam ibn al-Qayyi" is not a person that I know of."
Since you don't seem to be as bright as you think you are, combined with your deep islamic faith being now in serious doubt, I'll tell you that "Imaam ibn al-Qayyi" wrote "THE GREAT VIRTUE OF LOWERING THE GAZE"

I am bitter about the hatred preached by imams in mosques,I am bitter about almost 3000 innocent civilians going to work one day only to die a horrible death at the hands of muslims trained to commit suicide so others could die.
I am bitter that Osama is a hero to many muslims, that his picture is displayed and revered.I am bitter that horror and condemnation wasn't expressed in every mosque.
I am bitter that the madrassas don't teach math, literature and science so that the middle east can move forward.I am bitter about excuses for the hatred.

These dodo-heads should try something challenging such as landing a spacecraft on Mars. They sound like a bunch of losers grousing at a cheap bar.

Gee, how many times have I heard Osama proclaim he would launch "the strike to end all strikes, the one to send thousands of Americans to their graves, blah blah...." I'm starting to believe Osama and Baghdad Bob are cut from the same family tree.

"why didn't saddam let CNN know he was alive?"
He probably did, but you know CNN, they kept it a secret from the rest of us to keep their dear, dear friend alive and safe.

saddam didn't release any photos of himself holding up the NYT, yet he was alive. just because osama doesn't release any photos of himself holding the NYT, doesn't mean he is dead.

do think most of the victims of the horrible, horrible 9/11 attacks were innocent. It had nothing to do with IslamFundamentally incorrect. Bin Ladin wants to precipate a World War between Islam and the Western World.
9/11 was a good start to that goal. One more such event, and I personally will not rest until Bin Ladin's goal is realized.
Of course, I suspect the outcome might not be to his liking.
