I strongly agree.

I have some empathy for employer challenges in doing so. But those challenges are nothing compared to the challenges of life and death faced by our military personnel. Any employers playing evil games in such situations should hang their heads in shame and walk around with black hoods to cover their faces. Sheesh!

You got that right.

My own company has a policy whereby they make up the difference between the active duty pay and the employee's normal salary so the family doesn't have to struggle with a pay cut during deployment. I might have other complaints about my employer, but it's certainly not about the treatment afforded those who are called to active duty.
