"got a search warrant for all your doctor records, and then MADE THEM PUBLIC."

You are uninformed. The DA has the records sealed and NOTHING of his medical record has been made public. In fact the DA was instructed that nothing in his records is to be made public.

And I' msure this prosecutor, who is a conduit to the local newspaper, which the newspaper admits, is going to start right now to obey the law. Right.

Oh yeah, that is reassuring.

NOT

So far, this entire case has been leaked to the media, all through anonymous sources in the DA's office.

And if Rush's lawyer, Roy Black, had not implied that he was about to file motions against this Palm Beach Prosecutor for illegal leaks, I'm certain the Palm Beach County Judge would never have "Stayed" his own order to release the records (thereby keeping them sealed, temporarily anyway).

There are reasons why prosecutors and police must go solely by the book when doing these investigations, or risk having the case thrown out.

And that is to prevent overzealous fishing expeditions such as the one ongoing with Rush.

It all goes back to probable cause. If prosecutors filed these search warrants based on allegations from the maid, which seemingly turned out to be not true, then all investigative actions from that point on are moot.

Just like in cases where police illegally search someone's vehicle, and even though they find something, they cannot use it in court.

To sum up, Rush had a problem with addictive drugs, which he got from his doctor. He has sought rehab, several times. But he should not have to give up rights to his medical privacy just to satisfy your morbid curiosity.
