Black XXIII: "Dubyuh's Stand!!"
The MudCave (Festive Holiday Edition) | 25 December 2003 | Mudboy Slim

Posted on 12/25/2003 10:05:29 PM PST by Mudboy Slim

"Dubyuh's Stand!!"
(To be sung to Bruce Springsteen's "Jungleland")

(Mudboy on pie-anny...somebody strokin' the fiddle....gently!!)

Our soldiers'll have their Homecoming...in DeeCee, 'cuz it's Right!!
And the DemonRats'll queue their DeanMachine...but we're ready fer the Fight!!
Braindead Libs frettin' 'gainst what's Good and our God...
Left promotes Fear...their loss's the Country's gain!!
The Rats fight 'gainst our own...seditious stance...
Dem Lib'rals, they lust fer Power like Ol' France...
But can't escape Bill Clinton's scum stain!!

Well, that Ashcroft Lawman runs 'bout "flamin'" not chasing the RATS or Ol' Slick Willie!!
And the Libs round here look just like shadows...always scair't of takin' stands!!
FReep the churches...give RATS Hell!! FReedom is the A.N.S.W.E.R. fer the World!!
Patriots, join our band...Join in Dubyuh's Stand!!

The FReeper gang's assembled...Forum's a rendezvous fer the Right!!
They'll meet `neath that giant Exxon sign that brings this fair DeeCee's blight!!
Folks, there's an opera out on the Turnpike
Fer less Guv'ment, we in the RightWing shall rally!!
Then the Limbaugh troops--DittoHeads--join our holy fight!!
The street's alive as secret debts are paid
Contacts made, they vanished unseen
Kids flash guitars just like switch-blades hustling for the record machine
The hungry and the hunted...explode into rock'n'roll bands
That face off against each other out in the street
...Join George Dubyuh's Stand!!

(Guitar jammin')

In Left's Medyuh Pit, the luminaries fret 'cuz they ain't the rage.
My FRiends, the "Hate Bush" dweebs are out there...but their Hatred is the Brain-Dead Way!!
Power-hungry Lib'rals struggle 'gainst our Country...
Desperate as the Right moves on...RATS're kooks but they'll splinter, then they're gone!!

(Big Man on saxaphone)

In DeeCee City, Bold Hearts FReep...
Soul engines running through a night so tender
in a bedroom locked In whispers of soft...refusal and then surrender
in the tunnels uptown The Rat's own dream guns him down
as shots echo down them hallways in the night
No one watches when the ambulance pulls away
Or as the girl shuts out the bedroom light
Outside the street's on fire in a real death waltz
Between what's flesh and what's fantasy
and the poets down here Don't write nothing at all,
they just stand back and let it all be
And in the quick of a knife they reach for their moment
And try to make an honest stand

Left'll wind up wounded...BigGuv'ment's DEAD!!
The Right is Dubyuh's Land!!

HOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOO....woah-ah-woaaah...woah-ah-woaaaahhh...

Here I am reading Sultans' intriguing '888' post. I know there must be a hidden message, or something, as we were told there would be something pithy here...Possibly if I read it back-wards, or upside down?

Happy Gal, you speak three languages? Wow. (You Trilateral-Tri-linguist you!) Could you translate this into Gaelic, and decipher the Sultans' secret message for us?

"Poat...poat...what is the Sultan trying to say here?!"

Yes, I agree with you Mud. The "cherished poat" clearly has some hidden meaning. We must decipher this word, to get to the cryptic message enbedded in this 888 poat, er, POST...

I am going to see Former Chief Justice Roy S. Moore at a Profiles In Courage banquet tonight, ( Saturday, Feb 28th.)
I have also decided to switch from the Republican party, to the Constitution Party.
Tonight. I have waited long enough for the Republicans to at least start to shrink the Federal government. Plus, they have abandoned Judge Moore.
...............................

"Former Chief Justice Roy S. Moore, will be in Portland on February 28th (tonight) to be honored at the Profiles in Courage Banquet, hosted by the Constitution Party of Oregon."

News Item:
CONSTITUTION PARTY OF OREGON

ENDORSES THE CONSTITUTION RESTORATION ACT OF 2004

"Scappoose, OR - The Constitution Party of Oregon enthusiastically and wholeheartedly endorses “The Constitution Restoration Act of 2004.”

The bill, (CRA), introduced in Congress on February 13th by former Chief Justice Roy S. Moore, Alabama’s Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) and Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville), restricts the appellate jurisdiction of the United States Supreme Court and all lower federal courts to that jurisdiction permitted them by the Constitution of the United States. The House version is H.R. 3799 and the Senate version is S. 2082.

Bob Ekstrom, Chairman for the Constitution Party of Oregon said, “We fully support and endorse the effect that this bill would have across the board in putting the judiciary “on notice” that their days of free-wheeling power grabbing have come to an end.”

Former U.S. Senate Candidate for the Constitution Party, Lon Mabon, said, “This is probably the single most important piece of legislation introduced in Congress, in this century and the last. To those of us who hold the Constitution as being the supreme Law of the land, this bill is like cool water to a thirsty man! It will restore the authority of the Constitution over the judiciary of this nation. It will reign in renegade federal judges who consistently disobey our founding Document.”

Sec. 102 of this bill states:
"Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, the Supreme Court shall not have jurisdiction to review, by appeal, writ of certiorari, or otherwise, any matter to the extent that relief is sought against an element of Federal, State, or local government, or against an officer of Federal, State, or local government (whether or not acting in official personal capacity), by reason of that element's or officer's acknowledgment of God as the sovereign source of law, liberty, or government."

This means, that the federal judiciary would be prohibited from interfering with any _expression of religious faith by any elected local, state, or federal official. In other words, federal judges could not prevent the Ten Commandments from being displayed in public buildings or Nativity Scenes from appearing on court house lawns or "under God" from being recited in the Pledge of Allegiance or prayers being spoken in public schools, etc. This bill would limit the jurisdiction of the federal courts in these matters.

The constitution of every state of the Union acknowledges God and His sovereignty, as do three branches of the federal government. The acknowledgment of God is not a legitimate subject of review by federal courts. The CRA also protects and preserves the Constitution of the United States by restricting federal courts from recognizing the laws of foreign jurisdictions and international law as the supreme law of our land.

Former Chief Justice Roy S. Moore, will be in Portland on February 28th to be honored at the Profiles in Courage Banquet, hosted by the Constitution Party of Oregon. The banquet will be held at the Columbia Conference Center next to the Airport Holiday Inn, 8439 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland, on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 5:30 p.m. COST: $40. Seating is limited. Call 503-761-2400 for ticket information, or go to www.ConstitutionPartyOregon.org to purchase on-line.

Will really be looking forward to hearing what you learn from this gathering, my friend.

Just one thing, though.
I wouldn't get too carried away boasting up the Constitution Party, or pointing out the inability of the present party in charge to get the job done -- or a'tall, in some cases -- if I were you.

That's *not* what this place is for -- at least not anymore -- and the truth is, I like seeing you around.
Know what I mean?

...good luck tonight.

"Nice to know you guys love and miss him."

Yea that's just great; but, I'll tell 'em the same thing I told "Braveman" when he said, "I love ya, man!".
Told him if he asked to meet me in San Francisco I'd be compelled to break his GD'd heart & the same goes for this bunch, too.

"BUT, his ANGEL misses him most!"

Yea, now we're talkin'. :o)

"(but she doesn't have to...since she found the Moody Blues *S*)"

HA!!
OK wiseguy, you still have to answer up to your last late night freepmail *before* we go off into the MBs & all there is to those guys.
Y'hear??

...now about that *missin'* part you were talkin' about. ;^)

>SHEEEESH...how many times have YOU bought me vittles?! ~Mudboy Slim
"And how many bets have I lost???" ~The Sultan

Has that boy taken you & your bride out yet to the best place in town?
That was the requirement to satisfy his last blunder with just me alone, y'know.

Truth is, the boy has a well earned *reputation*.
A reputation whose odor few may abide by and as such anyone entering into a wager with the scoundrel would be well advised there's now a *policy* established in his honor that should be enforced.

It's called "The Mudboy Slim Clause" & it's actually quite simple to understand when stripped to the basic tenent.

...it's a deposit.

Definition of DEFUNCT political parties:

"A political organization, is considered defunct if:
The party dissolves itself.
Two or more parties are merged together.
The party joins an existing party."

Well, I count 2 out of three! :(

"That's *not* what this place is for -- at least not anymore --

I hear ya, Lan.

"Will really be looking forward to hearing what you learn from this gathering, my friend."

I'll let you know. Sean Hannity is going to be there, as well. Well, gotta turn of the 'puter, and get ready to go.

I wonder if Judge Moore will be the Constitution Party's presidential candidate this year. Although I thought I had read their candidate was already chosen.

Got me.
I haven't followed what the CP or any other parties outside of the main 2 are doing; since, the reality of the matter is the 3rd parties have little if any say.

Unfortunately one either conforms to D or R, or they're not going the be heard & because of that, the nation's lost (what I thought were) some fairly good candidates in the past.

...just the way it is.

Ah yes, the odiferous Mudboy Slim. Hey, I wish she could swing by Richmond on the 9th and attend our little RedTable soiree. (You'd get to see the boy in action first hand yer self.)

HA!!
Well let us get something straight right here & now, Sultan.
The *odor* to which I refer is that which is created when he welches on a bet, OK?
I'm sure the boy's feet smell absolutely delightful, like an Irish spring, even. :o)

"Hey, I wish she could swing by Richmond on the 9th and attend our little RedTable soiree. (You'd get to see the boy in action first hand yer self.)"

First off, which "she" are you referring to, my friend; or, have we yet another *poat* mystery to solve here?

I may not have "seen" the boy in action, but Sultan, I have felt his nimble fingers in my back pocket.

...lifting my wallet.

You met me, huh.
How come *I* don't remember it, and I would've since ya don't meet a "Sultan" every day, y'know.

Mudboy, I've this *feeling* "poat" has something to do with this alleged meeting; &, if I'm right we'll all soon be enlightened to the true, real meaning of "poat" & maybe even learn a bit more about it's creator, The Poatster.

"...but fer some reason I had Happygal on my mind."

Yea well, if I were you I get HappyGal off that mind or Mrs.Sultan?

I may just haveta amend that bet, as the Missuz still has a strict prohibition against socializin' with FReepers. Yeah, I know it's misguided and discriminatory, but she thinks y'all rightwing crazies bring out the devil in me and will not do anything to encourage it. Reckon I can pay fer the Sultan's vittles twice until she gits her head screwed on right, but the double-date's probably not gonna happen anytime soon.
