I guess you missed my point. But that's okay. We can agree to disagree I'm pretty sure I understood what your "Americans...compassion" comment meant. But it was a non-sequitir, which I attempted to highlight by responding in kind.
In a previous response to another poster, I said this:

this site recently ran a headline about a comment some Iranian mouthpiece made about 'washing Israel away.' My post referred to that comment. I certainly am in no position to speak about any particular Iranian, other than the one who made the comment.

"To a seismologist, a nuke looks nothing like a normal earthquake."
True, nukes look nothing like most earthquakes, but there are many quakes that are difficult to differentiate from nukes; especially at lower magnitudes/yields.

Oh yes! When UK joined you guys in the liberation of Iraq one of the Brit graveyards for the many WW 2 fallen in Normandy was defaced with Islamic slogans in red paint. French gov were v embarrased and cleaned the place up OK, but damage done. France is on the slippery slope and cannot control its violent religious minorities. You know of whom I speak!!! Mind you, UK has nothing to boast of in that regard either. I was in Gloucester in November, the day they arrested the Islamic terrorist there - friend of the Reid 'shoe bomber'.

You are one sick and hollow bastard.
I happen know Rudi...distantly, but enough to know she lost several relatives today. You show absolutely no taste in calling her a hottie at this point in time.
Shame on you.

The same way they explain every catastrophe to befall Islam - it happened because the Muslims were insufficiently devout. If only they listened more to their imam!

My uncle was among those who narrowly escaped becoming one of the hostages taken in 1979 - yes, I do remember that day quite clearly - and the fear my family felt when my uncle did not appear for nearly 2 weeks after. His young, Iranian bride, pregnant with their first child had already fled to London and waited for him there. He escaped because his *Iranian* servants helped him escape and hid him for those 2 weeks until they could smuggle him out of the country with the others.
If you can show no compassion for the mothers and fathers who have lost their children, who, even now are carrying the broken and mangled bodies of their flesh and blood out of the rubble and devestation that was their home and heart, you have no heart and your Christian God surely turns his back on you as certainly as you turn your back on His creations. God sent his only son, Jesus, to this earth to teach COMPASSION. Christ has not yet returned as the lion, and I trust that none of you holds the delusion that YOU are the avenging Christ. Judgement is God's realm, not the realm of mankind. Compassion is our portion from God's table, and He gave us that so we might share it with our fellow humans - all of them. For if Good Christians turn their backs on others, how are they to learn to turn their hearts to Christ?
Shame on every last one of you who gloats -- stare long and hard at the faces of those dead children. Imagine the faces of your children, dead, from something you could not control or precent. Imagine your parents' faces upon the faces of those mothers and fathers as they bear the burden of their little children. Imagine that is your arm upraised to God for succor.
THIS is not part of the war on terror, and if God had any intent at all in sending this earthquake (so quickly upon the heels of a similar one in California) then it was to remind us of our compassion and our duty to Him: "Love thy neighbor."
As I gaze upon the faces of the children I think, "What a beautiful child, what a horror that she is gone."

I was one of the Marines off Iran in 1980. I hated them for over 20 years. HATED them. I still hate them; I will never forgive them. The only good outcome from the hostage kidnapping by those evil people was it got Ronald Reagan elected.

I spoke to an Iranian Freedom activist recently. One Ayatollah, who split from Khatami, the present leader, has said from his records, that the Shah killed about 1,200 people, total in his reign.
The Mullah's and Ayatollah Khomenie killed over 6 million.
The youth of Iran, and the older survivors of this regieme hate the Mullahs more than you or I.
Remember, Iran practices Gun Control, that is why the Mullahs are in power.

I hope you arent offended, but I think Rudi is a beautiful woman, also!
My comments were not made to offend her or her family or their loss. In fact, none of us had any idea that she lost family until you posted your last post.
Im sorry if it looks that way.
Many here have no emotional link with Iran.
I have one.
Im sorry those comments appeared lacking in taste, they were not intended that way.
