Spare a thought for the multitude of poor and afflicted who lived righteously and in anonymity, then left this world without the trumpet blasts of the secular press to herald their passing.

I know that Douglas MacArthur's wife, Jeanne was visited by the Clinton in the hospital a few years back. Apparently, all American presidents in office, after her husband died, made a point of visiting her at some point during their administration. Does anyone know if she's still alive? She'd certainly be in her 90's by now.

I saw Edward Teller at the Denver airport once about 6-7 years ago. When they started boarding everyone stopped and let him go through first. I've never seen anything like it before or since.

A Friend of mine is a Chauffeur in the SF Bay area and used to drive Teller back and forth to the Laurence Livermore Laboratory quite often. He was active to the end, and still had a lucid and sharp mind.

One of the coolest sports moments I ever saw on TV. Short fence, but on TV, it looked like a big shot, especially from such an old guy.
