It is indeed a mystery if they know and didn't use it,in fact, haven't told us.You both admit to not knowing why.Do you assume whatever the reason it was a good one?I'm not certain it isn't just another "crowd control" issue by the folks in power.
I recall reading somewheere that we are signatories to a UN convention of some sort that gives that body authority over investigations and responses if a signatory is attacked with a WMD. If true, that might be reason enough, in the minds of the Administration, to keep quiet about anything short of an absolute smoking gun.

That caller was probably reading this thread.

Didn't the caller say it was confirmed (the anthrax lesion) by another hospital?

That thought did cross my mind when I heard the jerk.
Probably a DU lurker.
Couldn't be a polite FReeper.
To: zeaal
I thought she said it was unconfirmed, but I believe this segment will be replayed at noon so perhaps a closer listen is in order.

I'd be interested in hearing more about the UN and WMD agreements.

I thought that a nation attacked by chemical and or biological weapons could repsond with a nuculear response, under international law. This stuff is worth looking into.

*Caller: Why isn't it ever talked about where one of 9/11 terrorists who showeded up at hospital in Florida with anthrax? **Laurie: Because it can't be proven.
Not necessarily true. That particular hijacker was on Flight 93, which went down in Pennsylvania. The remains of all passengers on board have been identified, leaving the remains of four hijackers. If I had to ask the FBI a single question about the anthrax case, it would be this...
In June of 2001, 9/11 hijacker Ahmed Ibrahim Al Haznawi sought medical treatment from Dr. Christian Tsonas for a black lesion on his leg.1 After knowledge the anthrax letters became public, Dr. Tsonas became convinced that the lesion was cutaneous anthrax.2Al Haznawi has been connected with a Florida apartment3 rented by several of the 9/11 hijackers from Gloria Irish, wife of the publisher of The Sun tabloid, at whose American Media offices the first fatal anthrax victim, AMI employee Bob Stevens, was infected.4 Al Haznawi was also one of the hijackers on United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in rural Pennsylvania.5 Despite the incineration of all aboard that flight, the remains of the 40 passengers and crew members who died on that flight were identified through DNA analysis by December 19th, 2001.6 The remains of the four 9/11 hijackers have been isolated by process of elimination.7 Have the remains of the 4 hijackers, one of whom was Ahmed Ibrahim Al Haznawi, been tested for exposure to anthrax? Even had the antibiotics prescribed by Dr. Tsonas completely eliminated the cause of Al Haznawi's June infection, if it was anthrax there might still be antibodies for bacillus anthracis in his system on September 11th. Where are the autopsy results for Ahmed Ibrahim Al Haznawi?
If those remains have ever been tested for anthrax antibodies, I'm not aware of it. Shermy or aristeides might know.

"Watching now.....she's great. She knows her stuff! Will definitely be checking into her book!" Yes, she is, and yes, she does! I love to watch her talk when she's on these shows. She always makes her bottom-line, air-tight statements in such a calm, low-key, cut and dried manner, that it disarms those who would want to "argue" with her.
She leaves the enemies of the truth with no logical / cogent arguments. All they can do is attempt to get the viewers to focus in a different direction -- hence the personal attacks that were made by some of the callers.
I love it when people like those callers to C-Span present themselves to the viewing public as "the face" of the DemocRAT party.
Their illogical, emotion-driven responses to well-reasoned, thoughtful presentations like Laurie's, effectively present a clear contrast for swing voters.
The DemocRAT mentality, when stacked up against G.W. Bush, comes off looking reeeeeeeally flakey and unstable. Hahahaha
I videotaped the program. She will be on again at noon, I think, for those who may have missed it the first time. No doubt C-Span will re-air the program again later on today and tonight, too. They usually do.

Peach...1st time I saw Laurie Mylroie on TV, I thought she had just come back from a cocktail party! She is brilliant and that is just her delivery, I guess. I'd hate to see my delivery on TV!
If I could have an ideal "birthday lunch with the girls," I'd pick Margaret Thatcher, Jeane Kirkpatrick and Laurie Mylroie. However, I'd have to keep my mouth stuffed with rolls and butter to keep from blurting out something stupid ("I LIKE BLUE JELLO!"). I'm in awe of their kind of brainpower!
For coffee and dessert, I'd like to sit with GWB & Laura on the porch in Crawford....
Matchett-PI...Thanks for the heads up on the repeat! I'll be buying Dr. Mylroie's book to give to myself for Christmas!
(Dr. Mylroie...if you are lurking..."I'm not worthy!" Also, I liked the hairstyle today, too! I'd comment more on the substance of your appearance but I better eat these rolls and butter first!)
