She's a much better writer than speaker.
She also has the annoying habit of not looking people in the eye when she's speaking to them. I've noticed that on talk shows. She looks up above them.
Drives me nuts.

She's telling how Atta could easily been in Prague but the FBI and CIA discounted it because of cell phone calls made here. Cell phone calls could have easily been made by others using Atta's phone.

You are right. This is only the 2nd time I've seen her, but I was thought the same thing you did when I first saw her. She is speaking totally differently than she writes.

Her eyes bespeak a lack of sleep, yet she seems to have awoken now that she is getting into more detail of the difference in between the more active, aggressive foreign poliy promised by Clinton while running for President in 1992, and the post-election spinning and mocking of the Iraq connections to terrorism. She says that every time some report of an Iraq-Terror connection would come she can set her clock by the automatic response of the major journalists coming out to discount that report, to deny any connection between Iraq and Terror. Newsweek being the number one denier!
Why, asks the host, you were a consultant for Newsweek?
Yes -- but back in 1994 she says. "You'll have to ask teh publishers," she goes on, "about now!" She comtinues describing how in 1994 they did a joint report on the WTC I bombing, but even then the Newsweak editors keeep a lot of teh material out. Because they were leery of the mocking the Clinton administration had been putting out on Iraq.
Definitely more awake now.

Caller said she looked drunk or on drugs. She was looking at the wrong monitor until Steve pointed that out to her.

Her personal opinion regarding the explosion of the plane on July 17th is Iraq's national day.
The night before on July 16th a fax was sent by an Arabic paper (what did the fax say? did I miss it)?
She tends to think it was a terrorist attack committed by Iraq but the evidence that supports that is less than other evidence of other attacks.

That caller was about as rude as they come. I wish FReepers would take note. Listen to what she has to say and not what she looks like. This is not the Today show.

I HAVE taken note, several times now.
I was asking out of concern for her because I think she's brilliant and I'm a big fan. As I've stated repeatedly since asking my question about how she looks.

Definitely. I have no doubt it was Iraq behind the anthrax, and I believe the Bush administration believes that as well.
