I, however, see in this piece a glint of hope for the writer. He has certainly thought about politics and policy with an eye toward election of candidates that reflect his (albeit juvenile) views. He realizes that name-calling is counter-productive and he knows that you've got to stand FOR something if people are going to be asked to vote for you. This is the first sign of political wisdom. Who knows....after a few years of real-life expiriances he might just become a conservative. He seems too smart to remain a liberal.
