Asking out of ignorance-my question was not a comment on Rush's problems. I just assumed that if a judge ok's it the govt can look at your records.

Asking out of ignorance-my question was not a comment on Rush's problems. I just assumed that if a judge ok's it the govt can look at your records.I believe this is a state judge, and HIPPA is a federal law. Now, I'm asking out of ignorance, can a state judge interpret/disregard federal law?
