Schwarzenfraud is a joke. He takes little baby steps on spending cuts while saddling the next generation with enormous bond debt.

"little baby steps"...? HUH? 2 Billion is more like 13.4% of that bond debt. And that is no "baby step".

And making California a less alluring Socialist Paradise for the illiterate masses streaming northward from Mexico expecting to find Karl Marx beaming at them on the border and waving them in could initially SAVE MORE THEN 15 BILLION IN SHORT ORDER.

That 2 Billion will have trickle down effects all across the economy in the Peoples Republic of California.

Of course the illegals have already been advised to make emergency rooms their doctors offices in case something like this happens.

Guess we'll just have to see some proper ID or an insurance card before your childs extra load of boogers that day is declared to be due to just too much bugspray or chile dust in the air.

I cannot get free medical help on a walk in without proper ID and insurance docs. Why the hell should MEXICANS be able to do it?

That's right. Then what happens? Well, you see, Americans will get their healthcare cut.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Either we do something about the causes of demand or the costs will be there, and in some cases the costs will be higher because of these cuts. Cutting preventative care for kids makes no sense at all.

And so have a lot of others. My experience a couple of years ago really opened my eyes to this abuse.

The article stated

...$2 billion in health cuts over two years...

That represents about 1.5% of the general fund.
Definitely a baby step....
A drop in the bucket compared to the spending problem.
It's a start, but we've got a long way to go.

If this gov. wants to do something about healthcare, he should investigate where the Medi-Cal hospital risk pools are sent (as in filtered through hospital accounts and ending up in Bermuda!).

Instead of permitting the Healthy Families program's efficiency, this gov. would rather sentence the state to using Medi-Cal only and ignore the federal funds flowing into the State Children's Health Insurance Program.
