If it's a right, how can we "ration" it? Rights can't be rationed, only infringed.
If healthcare is a right, who will provide it? Wouldn't this idea make slaves of all taxpayers and especially doctors, nurses, nurses aides, etc.

If healthcare is a right, is it that do you have the right not to be sick, or do you have the right to be well? What is 'wellness"?
Do you maintain your right to unlimited, unqualified healthcare in spite of bad habits that harm you?

The recall and election were two separate votes. It is very probably, in fact, that many people who voted *for* Arnold also voted *to keep* "Grey Dufus".

While it might make sense to cut non-medically-necessary benefits for employees (just as every employer must decide when faced with budget cuts), this article doesn't mention State employee benefits, only taxpayer subsidies for people who don't work for the State.

I wonder if there are plans to cut the State employee benefits?
