I really wanted to go on the cruise this year with the wife but with a kid graduating high-school, it is impossible. Maybe next year when he's in college.

Our talented cruise webmaster, Doughty One, will be starting a new cruise thread contemporaneous with our freeper voyagers sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday afternoon. He'll have an icon link so all you vicarious landlubbers can find the thread easily.
Featured on this new thread will be some LIVE photos and commentaries direct from the Zuiderdam as FReeps Ahoy 3 navigates the island waters of the azure Caribbean.
Overseeing the on-board internet transmitting will be Dalereed who'll work with the home-front Doughty One to keep the ship-to-shore thread on the cutting edge of maritime evolution.
(not a bad phrase, eh wot?)
The new thread will also be the vehicle for after-cruise reports as well as photos posted by some of our snap-happy sailors when they return state-side.
