I love that poem and your little addition at the end! Being a water baby, I would love to spend days and nights on the beach or the water.

Listening to the ebb and flow of the tide. The waves crashing on the shore when the sea is angry or the wavelets lapping when the sea is happy.

The first FReeper cruise is a memory that I will always cherish. I hope that everyone has the happiest and best time on the cruise.

I love the poem, also, and your comments above are as eloquent as a poet.

Too many folks today are caught up in a rat race or have become couch/computer potatos. They don't realize that our bodies and spirit need rest, relaxation, restoration and a change in routine once in a while.

A vacation can be viewed as an expense, or can be seen as part of an investment in health preventative maintenance.

There's nothing like the rhythms of the soothing sea, the fresh breezes, the unpolluted air, the vitamin-filled sunshine, the well-balanced meals and the regular activity, exercise, even deck naps (!) that we'll experience on the Caribbean in May.

You'll be missed, Dixie, durn it all!
