Good news for the computer junkies on this cruise. Each cabin on the Zuiderdam has wireless internet access. You can hook up your lap top with a special adapter that's available on board.

There are usage fees. You can purchase from a variety of plans and the fees will be charged to your shipboard account.

You can purchase a wireless card for your laptop at $10 per day. Or buy 100 minutes for $55. Or, if you're hopelessly addicted, you can buy 250 minutes for $100.

At last we're on a ship where anyone in our group can freep in his/hers own digs, not in some internet cafe at the other end of the vessel.

For budget-conscious freepers (aren't we all?), Holland America's well-known "tipping not required" policy is a nice boon.
