Bush and Ludmila Putina, wife of Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin

Hey ConservativeMan55,
What's the deal with Ludmila Putina, and Vladimir Putin?
Notice the difference in the spelling of the husband and wife.
What's up with that?
Perhaps he's afraid Putina sounds alot like petunia.

"Putina" is the feminine variant of "Putin" - it's the same name.

Ending the name in "a" (the feminine form) is typical of the Russian language.

In Russia the females have "a's" at the end of their names. Where men have "v's" & "n's." As in Gorbechav. Bet his wife's last name was officially "Gorbechava."
