Brian Kilmeade.

Brian:
"We went to the White House Christmas Party."

Mike:
"Did the President recognize you?"

Brian:
"No. But the First Lady did. You know what. I'm going to say this. Laura Bush is the most attractive first lady we have ever had in the history of all first ladies. She even beats out Martha Washington."

Mike:
"I agree. She is freaking hot."

Brian:
"She's lost a lot of weight. If this First Lady thing doesn't work out I am sure she could be a model somewhere."

If you take a look at the pics in #300, I think Jackie is the more beautiful woman. I would never argue that she'd make a better wife, daughter or mother than Laura, because in fairness I don't know either of them. But on straight looks alone, I think Jackie's got it won hands down.

I may have already said this earlier, but you have to look at it in context. You have to compare pictures of Laura today to Jackie when she was 57 years old. That's a fairer comparison

Interesting. For you, wearing a certain style of clothing equals being 'attractive,' and having old money equals 'class.'

For me, it's much deeper.......and Laura has both qualities. I agree with you about our sinking culture, but we will have to agree to disagree on the rest.

IMO, Laura Bush is the most attractive First Lady we have EVER had, both inside and out.

And don't think that having a husband who adores you doesn't add to a woman's beauty. Jack's lack of character DID contribute to his wife's lack of inner beauty, just as George's character and love for his wife makes her even more beautiful.

But if you can find as much fault in GWB as you can in JFK, character is obviously not a deciding issue in your evaluation, and we will never agree on any individual's quality.

Brian is right (and he's a looker himself). She's also one of the most photogenic women around.

The comparison in the photos in post 300 is not only invalid because of the ages of the ladies, but also because the Jackie photo was a magazine shot, and could have been altered, and the Laura shot is a pose at a real life event in Europe.

Those photos notwithstanding, and real life considerations made, Laura is, feature by feature, still more attractive.

And when it comes to character, Jackie's not even in the same game.

One can say whatever they like about GWB, but there is no denying that he married a beautiful, classy and gracious lady when he took Laura.

Boy did she age well.

Out of curiousity, are you male or female?

Compare apples to apples, A-A, please!

Show me a non-airbrushed picture of Jackie O when she was the same age as Laura is now.

As for the rest of it, I have no desire to debate you on those issues -- the issue is beauty, and Laura is more beautiful than Jackie.

I'm female, and I'm an artist, so I think I'm looking at their features fairly objectively, I think.

Of course, my own tastes are in the mix too.

Just curious.......do you think Sophia Loren has a pretty face?

This whole Laura Bush attractiveness thing is so transparent. When faced with a growing number of Republicans (so called core voters), who are very upset at Dubya's RINO domestic policies and his continuing assaults on the Constitution, the bushbots, realizing that the war on terror isn't deflecting enough criticism, start trying to portray Laura Bush as some "great" First Lady, to try and take more attention off of Dubya's RINO domestic policy and assaults on the Constitution

Put simply, you are wrong about Jackie Kennedy, you are wrong about Laura Bush, you are wrong about your thoughts on "bushbots", and you are wrong about President Bush.

Merry Christmas anyway.

Sure, and mine too. The only reason I asked is because I think females have a more difficult time assessing based only on looks than men do. Men are much better than women at being purely physical and ignoring the emotional, as pretty much everyone who's ever been in a relationship knows...most of the comments in this thread from posters I know to be women reference what a great lady she is, her class, etc, which would back up my contention.

Obviously when I married my wife I considered the "total package", but when rating physical looks I can pretty well disregard all else.

Just curious.......do you think Sophia Loren has a pretty face?

Yep.

See, the fact that you think Sophia Loren has a pretty face indicates to me that you and I have different views of beauty.

Sophia also has wide set eyes, a large mouth and a sharp nose, like Jackie. Not my idea of beauty. Sexy yes, beautiful, no.

Now about that emotional thing. You might be right about the difference between men and women, but my Mom and Dad, and my husband and I share the same opinion of Jackie. She was OK, but definitely NOT beautiful.

And Laura does get prettier the more closely you observe her because her beauty is so very deep, and that may be an emotional evaluation as well.

Jackie was cool/cold, Laura is warm/hot. The husband adoration thing does make one glow, IMO........and Laura literally radiates beauty.
