Keep her and protect her as you always have, nmh. I agree with you, and feel sorry for the kids these days for what they have to put up with. I guess the early kids of the late 50's/early 60's had similar fears with bomb shelters and Cuban missiles. May God bless your little girl and shroud her, you, and your family with His love and protection this Christmas season.
Ditto kstewskis. I recall 'duck & cover' during elementary school in New Orleans during Cuban crisis...maybe that's why some of us are a little more tightly wound on these alerts. nmh...I wish I could protect my niece and nephews (all under 8) like you want to protect your little girl. Stay vigilant, prepared and in prayer.<><

I remember those duck and cover drills as well. Oddly enough I too was in elementary school in N.O. during the Cuban crisis. Also remember the family going out to dinner on a Friday night then going to some parking lot to tour the bomb shelters for sale. Odd times.
