Well, as a straight guy I never particularly thought him "hot", but he does have a tremendous sense of Bedouin style. I enjoyed his antics as my favorite cartoon dictator of the 1980s. I always remember he would make threats against the Sixth Fleet, but he couldn't pronounce "sixth" so it came out as "Seekh-ah-tah" Fleet.

Now, don't get me wrong -- I didn't shed any tears when we blew up his tent and killed his camels. I HAD noticed he seemed to have been behaving himself since Saddam became the #1 Cartoon Dictator.

On Fox they kept talking about how Col. Khaddafi was doing it to "save his skin." Why the disrespect? I think it is tremendous that he may be showing that a dictator can change and that's a great message to all of the other strongmen in the world. I DO think it ought to be a "trust but verify" deal, though.
