Both my kids came home this week asking about Kwaanza. My 6th grader said what is this Kwannza business and we explained its a made up holiday by a twisted " American" who hates America. My 2nd grader came home with a Kwaanza word find and I told her that I didn't want her doing this word find because its a made up holiday and we already have Thanksgiving in this country in November. I also pointed out to both of them that more then 9 out of 10 Americans celebrate Christmas in some form or another.
