NBCs Katie Couric said Saddams capture was only symbolic.
Another reason for me to despise "America's Sweetheart"
The Today Show needs to get Ollie North on the show to discuss the significance of Sadddam's capture.

This is a self fulfilling prophecy -- liberal journalists will try to make it "embarrassing".
Theres not a good deal for Iraqis to be happy about at the moment. Jennings informed the American public...
The anchors and talking heads pondered Saddams trial and concluded that it could be embarrassing to the United States.

NBCs Katie Couric
I think it's funny when Hannity mentions that he's never been invited on the Today show.

Now, the most committed followers of Usama bin Laden have cause to wonder if their bearded leader who wants them to die for his cause would ignominiously surrender himself to the tender mercies of the International Criminal Court to avoid an untimely demise.Maybe that's what OBL meant when he was quoted as saying he would "martyr himself in the belly of the beast". Islam means "surrender" -- doesn't it?

Her anti-American reaction to his capture is certainly "symbolic" of something. Her lack of character for one thing.

somehow, i have managed to live this long without ever seeing Katie Couric's infotainment agitprop.
for some reason, this makes me feel unaccountably blessed by an infinitely merciful God.

Jennings informed the American public that life for Iraqi citizens is very chaotic
beset by violence
[and] not as stable for them as it was when Saddam Hussein was in power.
Ahhh, for the stability of tyranny, secret police, and murdered family & neighbors.
I couldn't sleep without it.
(Can we put Jennings on trial, too?)
