December 19, 2003 -- WASHINGTON - Assassins targeted the top U.S. civilian in Iraq shortly after he visited Saddam Hussein in prison on Sunday - and investigators are probing whether Saddam's spies in the U.S. command aided the attack, sources told The Post. Papers found in Saddam's briefcase when he was captured included a list of his spies working undercover with Americans in Iraqi security forces and in the Coalition Provisional Authority, which oversees civilian affairs in the country, ABC News reported.

No one should be surprised at this. Our military is relying heavily on info from Iraqi citizens to find these remaining elements. Some bad guys will get through our defenses and cause some problems, it is going to happen. If this continues, I would start to worry. But I would bet it will get easier now that they have Saddam in custody.

"We were badly infiltrated," a U.S. official told the network - but the names found in Saddam's briefcase are a "gold mine." Anyone heard or seen Tom Daschle anywhere lately?

It's too bad that Saddam's capture was reported at all before all the leads could be followed up on.

You will be happy to know that the odious Julian Phillips on Fox and Friends agrees with Dean.
I really must send another note to Roger Ailes.

Tough enough with the spies and traitors put in place by the US State Dept which wants Bush out and America's allies down.

"We were badly infiltrated," a U.S. official told the network ... As long as they were politically correct and didn't offend anyone when they were selecting people for the security forces, that's all that matters.
To: Dog
Notice how this wasn't reported until now Which prominant Democrat could they be talking about?
