Except he is sowing those conflicts, encouraging opponents to oppose us, arming them, flaking for them diplomatically, and trying to defeat us. He is just failing at it.

We should acknowledge that many Russians are just as anti-American, if not more so, than their fellow Europeans. The average people are still mad that we won the Cold War and destroyed the Soviet world they knew, without giving any of them a free ride.

The fact is, what happened under Saddam happens elsewhere in the world. Should we invade the world?

That sounds like a typical bury your head in the sand statement. Since bad things happen all over the world then we should just ignore them all and do nothing. People are also starving all over the world so why should we try and feed them.

If we have to take these genocidal regimes down one at a time then yes we should do it. We'll have to do it since the UN doesn't have the will or the backbone to do it.

Saddam hid in a little spider hole. As Rummy said to the reporters the other day, "Imagine the quantity of biological agents that could be hidden in a spider hole the same size that the Rat was found in". Just because we haven't found anything does not prove that it doesn't exist.

The U.S. will be doing things different in the future. No more soft touch.

That is as long as Dubya is in office. Don't even let me think about him not being. Makes me shiver.

The UN is/was corrupt, ran by corrupt money grabbing men.

I sure wish that the Iragi's would have completed telling the world what they really wanted to tell us during the 1st or 2nd week of Iraqi freedom, when Baghdad Bob and the Iraqi treasurer and etc. were given their press conferences at 3 a.m. eastern time.

In total frustration with their partners in crime (some members of the UN),they were so mad, sweating heavily and flies swarming round and round their heads, they were on the verge of revealing the corruption of their dirty little cohorts, but damn they held back what was really happning Damn, damn, damn.

Putin:......"this is my very soft judgement."

I don't think Putin will openly criticize us very strongly because he needs his alliance with the U.S. and President Bush. Putin's greatest threats right now are terrorism (Chechnya) and Soros' Open Society Institute taking him down like they did Shevradnadze in Georgia.

And since Putin has shut down all the private TV networks,==

He didn't shut down private networks. 1 of them just bankrupted and few others still there. For example: NTV and RenTV. Both are private networks.
