Brit Hume would do that show so much better.

Speaking of mail. Did he read any email about his assault weapon ignorance?

I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly's either, although sometimes he's right on the mark, such as championing the cause of Col. West.

I was wondering about the numbers that Drudge reported for book sales for 2003. Haven't some of these books been on the market longer than O'Reilly's? In that case you would have to compare weekly sales when his book was first released, not the whole year.

Regardless, if O'Reilly said what is being reported, he's a fool. For heaven's sake, Drudge is only reporting book sales and O'Reilly can refute it on his show.

Tammy Bruce rocks, a Dem you can genuinely respect. I highly recommend her book, The New Thought Police.

"I mean you can't believe a word Matt Drudge says," O'Reilly told the cameras

from a man who said Jesus was a great philosopher!

"...Joined the Constitution Party on 12/9/03 and it feels soooo goooood"...

Curious. Only two days after joining FR. This is not the usual impact of this site. Get bored running the DU? A little trolling, maybe, for recreation?

O'Really does have his good evenings. However, he's so prone to tripping over his ego that he gets old in a hurry.

I'll take PJ O'Rourke over either.

Red - PJ is always a great read, but The Drudge Manifesto is also worth your time...

O'Rourke is one of the most underrated conservative writers. Parliament of Whores should be required reading in civics classes and I though Holidays in Hell was hysterical (alliteration not intended).

"What a pr*ck."

But then again...so is Drudge. Always has been..I guess they were made for each other.

LOL!!! Best line ever on O'Reilly and Couric I've ever seen.

She is quite smart and articulate. And she laments the death of right and wrong. And she supports abortion.

All of which proves that most people, even smart people, don't form their opinions with their intellects.

sorta weird, the only two left-leaning personalities that, to my mind, consistently make good sense are both lesbians - Tammy Bruce and Camille Paglia

It would be remiss to forget that there was a long long time in the wilderness when we lacked a nightly TV quasi-conservative voice like O'Reilley.

I think he is pompous, out of touch with flyoverland and too PC socially myself but he beats the alternative the left gave us for several decades nightly.

and yes...he doesn't know jack about pot or guns...that I admit.

O' Rourke coined the term 'Republican Party Reptile'. A title I've aspired to ever since.

I read Drudge every day, but it seems the rush to get the headlines, more and more, results in errors and inaccuracies. I like both Drudge and O'Reilly. I'm disappointed in Bill's remarks about Drudge. I'm really surprised that franken's book sells more than O'Reilly's. I may be biased but it must be those billionaire and millionaire liberals buying franken's book by the crate.
