raimondo used to have a very vocal and loyal following here...up till 9/11 when his true nature was laid bare.

I'm just curious as to who considers the dude a brilliant conservative writer, as you put it. I've yet to see any on this thread.

You would have had to been around pre-9/11 I guess or you wouldn't have to ask the question. Before that raimondo and antiwar.com(mie) even had their own link here.

Things changed post 9/11; the link disappeared along with most of his support. Some, such as Demidog, got the boot, others just stopped supporting him. Many of those still post here...since they don't seem to be so supportive of him these days we'll just let their names lie quietly...they know who they are.

I'll see you a conservative and raise you a libertarian. There must have been some, but I never saw anyone say this guy was a great conservative much less brilliant, much less a great writer.
