"It is as it was."
My wife asked, "I know he's old, but was he THERE?"

Good news I think

"Anti-Semitism" was just a smokescreen for the real basis for opposition to this film. The possibility that some people will see this film and become Believers is a terrifying prospect for liberals.

No, but he read the book VERY carefully, and he knows the language.

He didn't have to be there. According to the dogma, the pope is always correct when speaking on these sort of subjects.
I'm sure that's come in handy over the millenia!

Your wife sounds like she says a lot of cute things. But, this actually had profound meaning (believe it or not).

Buzz off, bigot. The dogma of papal infallibility does not apply.

If the pontiff's feelings end the controversy over the film, it would be a "beautiful gift to everyone this holiday season." About time this controversy ended. All that fuss over something no one had seen and now JPII gives it his seal of approval. Lol, that's rich.
To: Mike Darancette
no not necessarily, what about pastors and theologians, they have studied the life of Christ and believe it more than anyone

There is no doubt the liberals will say the timing of this movie release will be very suspicious.
To: the artisan
Of, course there are others. But they do not work for the NY Times.
