I'll remind everyone that Billybob's last ditch defense depends on a group of 12 people who were too stupid to get out of Jury duty.

As Mark Twain said, the only problem with the jmury system is finding everyday twelve people who don't know anything and can't read.
If I wanted safety and security, I would have made different choices and been a different person.
And I would have gound the folks on FreeRepublic scary, rather than great.
I'm 60. It's too late to change. LOL.

"I'll remind everyone that Billybob's last ditch defense depends on a group of 12 people who were too stupid to get out of Jury duty." I know that this is the 'common wisdom', but it is also very sad that people work so hard to get out of jury duty, particularly those of us who can do something to break down the power of government.
I would love to serve on a jury, but I haven't been called in over 20 years.
