The most interesting theory is that Madeline Albright was a man before her sex change operation. This can't be proved or disproved, but it's out there.

I have been lurking at DU lately. Times like this it's fun to do. They all sound like Madelliene. They discuss the possible capture of Bin Laden as if it were a bad thing.

It was a "tongue-in-cheek comment and was not intended in any other way," Albright told Fox News. I think it was more like a "head-up-ass" comment.

"I remember years ago when we made one attempt to kill Usama bin Laden by sending that missile into Sudan, all the Republicans said, 'Oh this was Bill Clinton's way of diverting attention from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.' That was unfair at that time, and frankly, I think accusations that somehow we have Usama and President Bush is holding him for political purposes, I think that's unfair at this time."No the difference is that Clinton really did do it to divert attention from Monica.

I think it was more like a "head-up-ass" comment.Perhaps it started out as a well-intentioned tongue-in-cheek comment and rapidly deteriorated into the situation you describe.

Mort Kondrake didn't think that Albright was kidding, as a matter of fact he asked if she was serious, and she dissembled.
The Democrats have stepped through the Looking Glass and can't find their way back without a rational leader.

Probably heard it from McDermott and figured it was a
good bone to bury in the minds of the press.
She also must've felt safe saying it in front of Mort Kondrake.

Just imagine if a Democrat were POTUS and a conservative had made this statement.
No, there is no bias in the press!

"I remember years ago when we made one attempt to kill Usama bin Laden by sending that missile into Sudan, all the Republicans said, 'Oh this was Bill Clinton's way of diverting attention from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.'"Wasn't that the time that Clinton sent a $1,000,000 missile careening into a $2 tent, only to find the backside of a camel? Not only was it a poor attempt at getting Bin Laden, but it also served poorly as a diversion (and an expensive diversion at that).

The two makeup people in the room say that she looked serious to them. Of course if I had to apply make for her everything would look serious.

"I think it is probably not a good thing to do this," said Elaine Kamarck, former senior campaign adviser to Al Gore. "I remember years ago when we made one attempt to kill Usama bin Laden by sending that missile into Sudan, all the Republicans said, 'Oh this was Bill Clinton's way of diverting attention from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.' That was unfair at that time, and frankly, I think accusations that somehow we have Usama and President Bush is holding him for political purposes, I think that's unfair at this time."Ahh, Ms. Kamarck, you cannot equate the two. This President has no history of deceit of the American public. You must recall: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman," "I will give the middle class a tax cut," "It depends on what the meaning of 'is' is," carrying a Bible to church only to scurry back to the White House for a little Monica, laughing like a school boy one minute, wiping away a tear the next at Ron Brown's funeral, . . .

Mort Kondracke broke this story. It has been interesting to watch Mort the past couple of weeks. Although his a relatively liberal, and typically supports Democrats (although I give him high marks for fairness), clearly he has been outraged at the Democrats' handling of the war issue. He really went off on Howard Dean's foreign policy speech. The Democrats should pay attention. Mort is horrified that the Democrats are hurtling over a cliff on national security issues, and is in essence pleading with them to slam on the brakes before it's too late. He is a voice of reason, but they are so deranged in their anger at Bush he's spittin' in the gale.

The most interesting theory is that Madeline Albright was a man before her sex change operation. This can't be proved or disproved, but it's out there. The MOST interesting story is that Howard Dean has had an ongoing homosexual relationship with Barney Frank for ten years.
Now, I don't believe this at all, but I find it a most interesting story..

Did Madeline Albright and Janet Reno room together while in DC and on occasion play host(ist?) to Hillary as well or is that just rumor too?
