This Jackson fellow is a great commentator. I know nothing about his credentials, nor do I see anything exceptional in the manner in which he writes. But make no mistake about it, he understands how to provoke and inflame.

Remember, this guy is not a reporter. His column is commentary. His job is to drive us crazy, get his name out there, produce hits to site, and get people talking. He undoubtedly has done that.

Now, the depth of his analysis matches that of a puddle on I-95 in August. My guess, however, is that he knows most of his nonsense does not meat the sniff test for politically informed. His audience is the politically inflamed.

I hate the guy, but then I will read him just to see what he has to say. What I would really like to know, however, is if he actually believes the stuff he writes. That's more interesting to me.
