A Texas housewife is in big trouble with the law for selling a vibrator to a pair of undercover cops, and the Brisbane vibrator company she works for says Texas is an "antiquated place'' with more than its share of "prudes.''

This incident is an insult to all Texans.

We assume that the limited law enforcement resources we have, should be focused on important things, such as stopping street crime, catching illegal immigrants at the Texas border, hunting down drug dealers, etc.

But nooooo! Our undercover agents have more important things to do. Such as to arrest housewives who sell d1ldos.

Incidents like this give conservatives a bad reputation.

If you're in favor of the government locking people up for possessing naturally-occurring plant matter then why are you upset about this?

Arresting people for selling body oils, rounding up blacks in small towns and charging them with dealing dope, and a crooked police chief in Dallas. What is law enforcement smoking in Texas?

This is the other extreme of the politically correct spectrum. If she tried to demo her toy in public, that's one thing, but geez....lighten up already.

The incidents are not the same. I am sure you would not support the sale of heroine and cocaine in every street corner, especially in your neighborhood, or in the vicinity of your kids' school.

Interesting, and really overbearing for the local law enforcement to act on this issue.

Now, now...do not get all upset...the good news is that two queers can sodomize one another because that is an inalienable right under the Constitution...of course, the same queer if per chance (s)he thought about opposing a political candidate about a month before an election could not express publicly his views...but thank God our hard-working undercover (hmmmmmm?) agents can prevent that same queer from selling/purchasing a device that vibrates if the seller/purchaser has the pernicious thought of placing that device where it does not belong. It makes me proud to be an American.

battery-powered vibrators that sell for $17 to $140.

A $140 VIBRATOR?

Reminds me of the Kirby salesman who, after some very impressive demonstrations, told me his $1500 vacum cleaner was better than my $350 one.

But what kind of demonstration is there for a $140 vibrator?

Its the same as the Kirby "attachments" demo...only with lubrication.

She should have stuck with sodomy. Maybe she can claim the use of a vibrator is a form of sodomy ?

She should say they are for lesbians.

They would have to let her go.

And give her the keys to the city.
