Diane Sawyer is just contemptuous of our President and seems disgusted that she can't get him to admit that every casualty inflicted on US forces crushes him (encouraging the insurgents that all they have to do is continue their terrorist activities). If Bush opened up and expressed that kind of emotion, how could he conduct the foreign policy of this country?

I think W is doing great despite Sawyer's vaunted efforts. Keep it up, Mr. President!

Watching the taped interview now (MST). Followed the first couple of hundred post in this thread waiting for it to air on my local station...but after watching this for a half hour....the producer gets fired and me thinks DS might be sent to Duluth, MN to cover the local news beat. She had the chance and it looks to me like she blew it. Just my 2 pennies.
