I agree... I think he wants to say things that the White House is not ready to reveal... he has to bite his tongue, especially because Diane went beyond the pale... and thought she was being "tough."

Still waiting for why Klintoon didn't lift a finger for Rwanda but installed the voodoo doll in Haiti...waiting breathlessly. Oh and how could I forget Kosovo? Sick of Hellary. She was an embarassment to the title of 'First Lady'.

I have been online but Jan is watching it and she said it is disgraceful the way she is acting toward President Bush. I really think that our prayers for this leader is helping him in ways that others can not dream of--unless they believe in the power of prayer, too.

IS sawyer member of feminist majority? what was that harder against a woman question? what a manure.
To: longtermmemmory
You can bet that candidate Hillary wouldn't get anywhere near the harsh cross-examining as has W.

If you want to read an interesting book that will confirm what Kay has written... read The High Cost of Peace by Yossef Bodansky.

DS: Howard Dean.... been reported that your administration were salivating at the prospect of HD being the nominee.
GW: I'll respond when there IS a nomination. Politics is big in Washington... my job is to keep America safe and prosperous.
DS: Hard to run against a woman?
GW: I have run against a woman (Richardson). It was a tough race.
GW: I'll debate later in the process, but I have a lot to do... the dance card is quite full these days.
DS: You would have to create 200,000 new jobs a month to be the first since HH to lose jobs.
GW: I inherited this recession.... you gotta understand, we're at war. We'll spend what's needed (deficit stuff now)... congress has to toe the line to cut the deficit. Plan to cut it by half in 5 years.
DS: When you talk about the sanctity of marriage... would you support a constitutional amendment...
GW: I would support an amendment.

Loved that too... giving her hell on gay marriage. She is playing "gotcha!" so she becomes the story instead of his answers. I hate that about today's media. They have to be the story.

DS: Are gays sinners?
GW: We are all sinners.... but I do believe in the sanctity of marriage. Tolerance and belief in marriage are not mutually exclusive.

I truly doubt it. I got an email right after the war started and the writer was against the war. I wrote back and asked lots of questions such as: If you like your children to be free to get an education then why don't you want the same for the children of Iraq. Another one was about the freedom that females have in this country, then why don't you want the same for all the females of Iraq. Strange to say, I never received a reply. Wonder why! Did I say something wrong?
