(O'Reilly didn't call her on it, no surprise there)No surprise, indeed. Last night, he was kissing the media's collective backside.

DS: Do you think you're beatable?
GW: Everyone's beatable in a democracy. (Good quick come back.)
I never really hated Diane Sawyer before but I'm starting to.

No McCain would be running the war from the oval office via McNamara and Johnson, a loisng proposition to be sure and one that resulted in 56,ooo dead American warriors for nothing.
Kerry would turn it over to Kofi Anan and the war would be run from the UN by the French, Germans and disappointing comrades in Russia. Which means that Saddam would still be diddling with Al Qaeda and there would be no war.
The editing of this "interview" sucks.

Diane wouldn't be this tough on Saddam if he was in the chair across from her....UNBELIEVABLE.
To: wizardoz
She's smarmy, and trying her best to spout off the DNC talking point, but Dubya won't tolerate her idiocy.
I'm waiting for Brit Hume to do a 1 hour special for FNC.

I am so offended by DS's disrespectful approach to her WMD questions. I want to see her confronted and humiliated after the WMD are located.

Let her keep asking the same question; they have no negative effect on anyone or anything. The more the libs talk, the more normal Americans become settled in their positions.
To: cyborg
"Are you going to make Saddam cold?"
"Will he get 8 hrs of sleep daily?"
"Will you promise that he will not be exposed to heavy metal music?"
All leftists want Saddam to LIVE. Every single last one of them.

Bush seems to be getting a little heated... He needs to calm down and instruct her that she didnt have the information and wasnt in the position to make the decision.
"Hindsight is 20/20 and although I understand your concern with the WMD, I had information that was convincing and concrete... One thing I can ask you is how would you act with the pressures of protecting the worlds beacon of freedom and had information that said Saddam is in breech of 1441 and another 9-11 could occur???"

I won't forget his inaugaration either. I went out on the driveway and shot off firecrackers, and bottle rockets. Not so much cause Bush was in, but because Klintoon was out.
To: baseballmom
you're right this is no interview, it's an attack..she's trying very hard to trip him up...how many times/ways did she ask the same question?...she's trying to make news!

I want to see her confronted and humiliated after the WMD are located. She will be!
But, in the meantime, she's helping Dean. Go, Diane, go!!!
To: wizardoz
Sawyer is the most moderate of any of the network media elites, think of that, she is the most fair of all of them.
Not sure what the purpose of this interview is really, from Bush's point of view.
To: wizardoz
I never really hated Diane Sawyer before but I'm starting to.It's clear that she doesn't like being exposed as a fool by his answers. She's doing her best to make this a "friendly" interview, but she's getting pissed.
To: LisaMalia
Di... What a pudnocker!
Well... even after some heavy drinking... I could honestly say I did not have sex with that woman!
